How a piece gets listed

It starts with the supplier, and with establishing what the piece really is – the material, the dimensions, what is in the pack. Only what can be confirmed goes into the listing; a specification we cannot verify is omitted rather than estimated. Photographs show the item as it is supplied, with the standard caveats on screen colour and batch variation in natural materials. Finally stock is checked against what can actually be dispatched – and if something turns out to be unavailable after you have ordered, you hear from us and get a full refund.

How we choose garden stock

We stock what survives an Indian season on a balcony or a terrace: unglazed clay for propagation, plastic and metal for anything that stays out in monsoon, and self-watering pots for people away from home during the week. We do not stock live plants.
