Expandable Garden Hose

A garden hose that expands to three times its resting length when the water is turned on, and contracts again when it is turned off. The point of the design is storage: the hose takes up much less room coiled and empty than a fixed-length hose of the same working length, which suits a balcony, a small yard or a shed with limited space.
